Our take
Many cat owners buy one for the same reason: the cat demands food before dawn. With an automatic feeder, meals show up on time without you getting up, and your cat stops associating you with breakfast.
This PETLIBRO model is one of the best sellers: set the times and portions and it serves dry food on its own. It also works for small dogs and for portion control if your pet needs to watch their weight.
It only works with dry food, and it's worth checking the first few times that portions come out right with your kibble size.
Pros
- Meals on time, whether you're home or not
- Helps with portion control
- For cats and small dogs
- Best-selling brand in the category
Cons
- Dry food only
- Check portions the first few times
